Job summary

Akriya Group is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in software development and IT vendor management to lead enterprise technology delivery from inception to closure.

The role requires transitioning from hands-on development to team leadership and managing vendors, stakeholders, contracts, SLAs, budgets, and end-to-end delivery across projects in Mumbai. You will drive governance and coordinate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of overall IT experience.
• 4–5 years hands-on software development before PM.
• Strong IT vendor management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with contracts, SLAs, SOWs, and work orders.
• Strong project governance, budgeting, risk management, and delivery capabilities.
• Technical background in Java, Microsoft technologies, Data/Analytics, Databases, or SAP (preferred).
• GCC environment experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project delivery within agreed timelines, budgets and quality.
• Oversee IT vendor selection, performance, relationships, and negotiations.
• Manage contracts, SOWs, SLAs and work orders.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in software development, IT vendor management, project governance, and enterprise technology delivery.

The ideal candidate should have progressed from a hands‑on development role into team leadership and project management, with experience managing vendors, stakeholders, contracts, SLAs, budgets, and end‑to‑end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end‑to‑end IT project delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Oversee IT vendor selection, performance, relationships, and commercial negotiations.

Manage contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), SLAs, and work orders.

Drive project governance, risk management, stakeholder communication, and escalation management.

Coordinate development teams, business stakeholders, and external technology partners.

Track project milestones, resource utilization, budgets, and delivery performance.

Ensure effective project planning, reporting, and compliance with organizational processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 10–15 years of overall IT experience.
• 4–5 years of hands‑on software development experience before transitioning into project management.
