Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru is seeking a Technical Project Lead to steer cross‑functional engineering teams and deliver software, cloud, digital, data, and AI‑driven initiatives within scope, schedule, and budget.

You will drive day‑to‑day project execution, promote Agile practices, manage risks and stakeholders, and mentor the team while ensuring quality and governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in software development and project delivery.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience leading technical or cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of software, cloud, digital, data, and AI/GenAI projects while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, and budget commitments
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while effectively balancing resources, risks, and dependencies
• Drive Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies and facilitate Agile ceremonies
• Work closely with technical leads, product owners, and stakeholders to prioritize work and ensure timely delivery
• Monitor project KPIs, sprint metrics, project financials, and provide regular status updates to management
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, data engineers, and AI teams
• Identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery plans
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, quality standards, audits, and governance requirements
• Manage customer communication, stakeholder expectations, escalations, and project reporting
• Lead team onboarding, performance management, mentoring, and employee development activities
• Promote continuous improvement, engineering best practices, automation, DevOps, and AI‑assisted productivity initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10–12 years of experience in software development and project delivery
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience leading technical or cross‑functional teams

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies
• Experience in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
• Knowledge of cloud, digital, data analytics, AI or GenAI project delivery
• Experience in project planning, estimation, risk management, resource planning, and budget tracking
• Strong stakeholder management, customer communication, and presentation skills
• Good people management, mentoring, conflict resolution, and team leadership abilities
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Office, and project management tools

Preferred Certifications

• Any project management or equivalent Agile certifications
