Job summary

Dentsu Webchutney is seeking a Lead Automation Engineer to drive automation initiatives within the Project Team. You will collaborate with process experts to identify and implement process improvements, specializing in RPA with UiPath and Power Platform.

You will oversee end-to-end automation development, testing, and deployment, while guiding a team and ensuring on-time delivery. The role requires hands-on RPA expertise, strong leadership, and ability to work across finance-related processes.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirement gathering, analyzing, developing, and testing a bot with stakeholders.
• Design components for future state and obtain review sign-off from Process expert.
• Automate business processes using selected tools per design.
• Perform Proof of Concepts for feasibility analysis of proposed automation.
• Translate business and technical requirements into design and deliver within timelines.
• Lead peer reviews of code adhering to design and deliver CRs.

Job Summary

As part of the Project Team working on Automation, the candidate is required to work as Lead automation engineer and collaborate with process experts in identifying & implementing process improvement initiatives.

Must Have Skills

• Should have hands-on experience in Robotic Process Automation tools using UI Path + Power Platform.
• Practical exposure on developing to deploying BOT independently.
• Candidate should know RE Framework, Document Understanding, AI Center, AI Agents, and UIARD certification would be a plus.
• Orchestrator knowledge is required.
• End-to-end lifecycle knowledge of RPA.
• Knowledge of building agents using Copilot, UiPath.
• Knowledge of API.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Power Platform by doing (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot).
• Should have a good understanding of SQL databases and queries.
• Should have worked in finance-related processes.
• Must have direct experience managing team members.

Good To Have

• Knowledge of finance processes.
• Python.
• Jira.
• VBA (Macros, some .NET experience).
• Hands-on experience building Agentic Automation solutions using UiPath and/or LangChain-based agent frameworks.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration.

Key Accountabilities

• Participate in requirement gathering, analyzing, developing, and testing a bot along with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design the components for future state, get it reviewed and signed off by Process expert.
• Automate business processes based on specified design using selected tools.
• Performing Proof of Concepts for feasibility analysis of the proposed automated solution.
• Ability to translate business requirements and technical requirements into technical design.
• Feasibility study and identifying the gaps.
• To analyze business requirements for developing functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Ability to deliver within estimated timelines.
• Participating in peer review process of codes adhering to design.
• Support existing solutions from estimating and delivering CRs.

Professional Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical/related field.
• 7-9 years of related experience in lieu of degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferably a computer background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
