Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity across multi-site environments.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead - Network Engineering with strong expertise in Juniper technologies, SD WAN & Load Balancerto join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading network operations, driving technical initiatives, managing critical incidents and changes, and providing technical leadership to the team.

This role requires hands-on experience in enterprise network environments, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor engineers while ensuring network stability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive end-to-end network initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Act as the primary technical lead for high-risk changes, major incidents (P1/P2), and critical network outages.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and connectivity issues across multi-site environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver network solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Review network architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and knowledge repositories.
• Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers, conduct technical reviews, and support skill development initiatives.
• Participate in capacity planning, technology upgrades, and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Ensure adherence to network security standards, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
• Support automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper platforms.
• Expertise in Routing & Switching concepts and protocols:
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise or data center network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network issues.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as:
• Zabbix
• ExtraHop
• Infoblox
• Velo
• A10 LB
• Hands-on experience in incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Juniper Certifications: JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE
• Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCNP
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (VeloCloud)
• Exposure to Juniper Apstra and Data Center Networking.
• Knowledge of Network Access Control solutions such as ClearPass.
• Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM platforms.
• Automation and scripting using Python, or similar technologies.
• Cloud networking exposure (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
