About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager – Networks to lead our WAN Network Engineering function. The role will own the design, architecture, implementation and technical governance of large-scale enterprise network environments connecting customer locations, data centers, cloud platforms and internet ecosystems.
The ideal candidate is a CCIE Routing & Switching / Enterprise Infrastructure and CCIE Data Center certified networking professional with deep hands‑on expertise and proven leadership experience.
This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can operate equally well as a network architect, technical problem solver and people leader. The individual will lead the WAN team, establish engineering standards, drive network transformation and provide technical leadership for complex enterprise customer deployments.
- Lead and manage the WAN Network Engineering and Implementation team, providing technical and operational direction.
- Own the end-to-end design and implementation of complex Enterprise WAN and Data Center network solutions.
- Define network architecture, engineering standards, design principles and implementation methodologies.
- Review and approve HLDs, LLDs, network designs, migration plans and implementation strategies.
- Architect highly available and scalable solutions across MPLS, Internet, SD‑WAN, BGP, OSPF, L2/L3 VPN and hybrid WAN environments.
- Provide technical leadership for complex routing, switching and network architecture challenges.
- Drive integration between WAN, Data Center, Cloud, Security and Enterprise Infrastructure environments.
- Provide technical leadership for Cisco‑based Data Center networking environments including Nexus, ACI and VXLAN/EVPN.
- Lead complex customer network migrations, expansions, transformations and new implementations.
- Act as the senior technical escalation point for critical network incidents and complex customer issues.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Pre‑Sales, Data Center, Cloud, Security, NOC and Service Delivery teams.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers and senior technology stakeholders on complex network architecture and transformation initiatives.
- Drive network modernization initiatives including SD‑WAN, automation, programmability and next‑generation network architectures.
- Identify opportunities to automate network provisioning, configuration, monitoring and operational processes.
- Establish strong engineering governance around configuration standards, change management, documentation and network lifecycle management.
- Drive capacity planning, network performance optimization, availability and resilience across the environment.
- Lead technical evaluations, POCs and architecture assessments for new networking technologies.
- Build, mentor and develop a high‑performance team of network engineers and architects.
- Establish a culture of technical excellence, ownership, documentation and continuous improvement.
