Job summary

V2 Solutions Hyderabad seeks a seasoned backend/platform engineer to lead the design and delivery of scalable Python services in a cloud-native, Kubernetes-based environment.

You will own RESTful APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL optimization, and CI/CD adoption, while mentoring teams and coordinating with product and data science to build AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in backend or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python development.
• Experience designing and operating applications on Kubernetes.
• Proficient in REST API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, setting engineering standards, and mentoring developers.
• Familiarity with React and modern front-end development practices.
• Exposure to Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, Google ADK, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Exposure to Helm, Azure DevOps, Cursor, Veracode, or similar development tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams is highly desirable.
