• Independently conceptualize, technically lead, and execute the design of complete pump using inputs from Product Manager, in a timely manner using NPD processes, CAD, FEA, calculation tools as relevant to the project.
• Develop new complex design calculation tools from first principles based on project requirements.
• Create concept designs using CAD; perform theoretical analysis using design calculations; optimize design using FEA and CFD.
• Review BOM, CAD models & manufacturing drawings for parts, assembly & general arrangement drawings of the pump, following engineering guidelines.
• Prepare detailed test plan based on product technical specifications and ensure experimental verification to confirm compliance; approve design review and prototype testing report.
