Job summary

With 3+ years in pumps or rotating equipment, you will work cross-functionally, reviewing drawings, and mentoring drafters.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in pumps or rotating equipment industry
• Knowledge of ASME/API/DIN design standards and material specifications
• Excellent ability to read and understand engineering drawings/documents/reports
• Proficient on 2D and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks or similar CAD tools)
• Conversant with GD&T (Basics & Advanced) and drafting standard ANSI Y 14.5

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety through proper review/design and worksite safety through championing FLS policies and procedures
• Perform work that is varied and complex, with minimal supervision
• Ability to generate 2D detail drawings, complex 3D models and assembly using CAD software
• Support end-to-end operations and cross-functional engineering initiatives with interdependencies
• Check own and team members' design/drafting work for compliance with standards and requirements
• Drive engineering performance with respect to responsiveness and key indicators (OTD, KQI, utilization)
• Prepare engineering standards, procedures, checklists to minimize errors
