Job summary

Dover India Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a Technical Lead with 10-20 years of experience to independently conceptualize, lead, and execute pump design using CAD, FEA, and CFD. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product definitions and timely execution.

Responsibilities include reviewing BOMs and CAD models, creating detailed test plans, and validating prototypes to meet technical specifications and project deadlines.

• Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering.

• Experience in NPD/VAVE processes and system integration design.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceptualize, technically lead, and execute pump design using CAD/FEA/CFD.
• Develop new design calculation tools from first principles based on project needs.
• Create concept designs using CAD and perform analyses with FEA/CFD to optimize designs.
• Review BOM, CAD models, and manufacturing drawings for pumps per engineering guidelines.
• Prepare test plans and ensure experimental verification and prototype testing reports.

Designation- Technical Lead

Location-Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities-:

• Independently conceptualize, technically lead, and execute the design of complete pump using market inputs from Product manager, in a timely manner using NPD process, CAD,FEA, calculation tools as relevant to the project.
• Develop new complicated design calculation tools from first principles of Engineering, based on project requirements.
• Create Concept design using CAD, perform complicated theoretical analysis using Design calculations and optimize design using FEA and CFD.
• Review BOM, CAD models & manufacturing drawings for the parts, assembly & general arrangement drawings of the pump, following the engineering guidelines.
• Prepare detailed test plan based on Product technical specification and ensure experimental verification to ensure compliance with test plan and approves design review and prototype testing report.

Skills Required-:

• Should be strong in fundamentals of Mechanical engineering and Engineering calculations.
• Should have knowledge in design of pumps for Data Centre Applications.
• Experience in NPD/VAVE processes & system integration design.
• Should have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, presentation skills.
