Job summary

Colder Products Company in Bangalore is seeking a Technical Lead with 10–15 years of mechanical design experience to drive pump development using CAD, FEA, and robust NPD processes.

You will concept, lead and execute design work, develop new calculation tools, review BOMs and drawings, and ensure rigorous testing and prototype verification.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential as you collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience designing pumps for data centre applications.
• Strong in NPD/VAVE processes and system integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead design independently and perform CAD/FEA analyses.

Responsibilities

• Independently conceptualize, technically lead, and execute pump design using market inputs and CAD/FEA tools.
• Develop new design calculation tools from first principles based on project requirements.
• Create concept CAD designs and perform detailed analysis (FEA/CFD) to optimize the design.
• Review BOM, CAD models and manufacturing drawings for parts, assemblies and GA drawings; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare detailed test plans and verify designs through prototype testing and reporting.
