Job summary

Dover India is seeking a Technical Lead to independently conceptualize, technically lead, and execute complete pump designs using inputs from Product management. The candidate will use NPD processes, CAD, FEA, and calculation tools to deliver timely results, and will optimize designs with CFD for high-performance pumps.

The role requires leading design reviews, BOM reviews, and generation of detailed test plans with verification reports, ensuring compliance and robust prototype testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of pump design and mechanical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in CAD, FEA and CFD for design optimization.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review BOM, CAD models & manufacturing drawings for the parts, assembly & general arrangement drawings of the pump, following the engineering guidelines.
• Prepare detailed test plan based on Product technical specification and ensure experimental verification to ensure compliance with test plan and approves design review and prototype testing report.
