Job summary

The Search House is seeking an experienced Production & Quality and Technical Operations Engineer to oversee the AAC Blocks and Panels plant in Kapadvanj. You will drive production targets, uphold product quality, and optimize manpower and resources.

Lead shop-floor teams, coordinate with maintenance and quality groups, implement CAPA, and pursue continuous improvement while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and technical operations of AAC blocks/panels or cement-based materials.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and manpower management.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA.
• Proficient with QC tools and testing equipment.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a plant environment with dusty conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production to meet targets for AAC blocks and panels.
• Ensure quality control across raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Lead shop-floor teams; monitor safety and compliance.
• Drive CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams.
• Prepare production reports and maintain KPIs.

Job Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Production & Quality and Technical poperations Engineer to oversee production operations and quality control at their AAC Block & AAC Panel manufacturing plant in Kapadvanj. The role involves achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing manpower and resources, reducing losses/wastage, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage daily production activities to meet daily/monthly targets
• Ensure efficient manufacturing of AAC Blocks and AAC Panels
• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and shop-floor manpower
• Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery
• Monitor breakdowns, losses, downtime, and wastage
• Maintain production reports (daily/weekly/monthly)

Quality Management

• Monitor quality of raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional testing
• Identify defects/non-conformities; drive corrective action
• Develop and implement CAPA
• Reduce rejection and quality-related losses
• Ensure calibration of testing/measuring equipment

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Root-cause analysis for production/quality issues
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Integrate quality checkpoints into production process

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure plant safety procedures, PPE compliance
• Ensure ISO 9001 and industry quality standards compliance
• Support internal/external audits

Team Management & Training

• Lead production and quality teams
• Train staff on processes, quality, inspection, and safety

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 520 years' experience in manufacturing and technical operations of AAC Blocks/Panels or cement,ateel,concrete related building materials highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and manpower management
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA
• Good command of QC tools and testing equipment
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and reporting
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing (dusty) environment
