Job summary

The Search House in Kapadvanj, Gujarat, is looking for an Assistant Production Manager to oversee day-to-day production of AAC blocks and panels, drive targets, ensure quality, and manage manpower for a safe, efficient plant operation.

You will coordinate with mechanical, electrical, quality, procurement and stores teams; monitor downtime; implement productivity improvements; and prepare daily reports for management.

Qualifications

• Any Graduate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production/manufacturing in the building materials industry.
• Experience in AAC Blocks, AAC Panels, RMC, Cement Products, Block Joining Mortar, or similar building materials will be preferred.
• Good knowledge of production processes, quality, safety, and manpower management.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
• Willing to work in a plant/dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and workers.
• Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing of AAC Blocks and AAC Panels.
• Monitor production quality and ensure products meet required standards.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, raw materials, and machinery.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor machine breakdowns, production losses, and downtime and coordinate for timely resolution.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
• Ensure proper safety practices and use of PPE on the shop floor.
• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and update management on production performance.
