The-Search-House is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer to lead production and quality for AAC block and panel manufacturing. You will drive daily operations, ensure product quality, and optimize resources, manpower, and processes to reduce losses and improve overall plant performance.

Ideal candidates have 7–15 years in building materials or related sectors, strong ISO 9001 and quality tools knowledge, and proven leadership to manage cross-functional teams in a dusty manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial/Production) required.
• Experience in AAC Blocks/panels or building materials preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, SPC, CAPA, and continuous improvement required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production to meet targets for AAC Blocks and Panels.
• Monitor raw materials, in-process and finished product quality against specs.
• Lead CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance, procurement and QA for smooth plant operations.

Location :- Kapadvanj.

We are looking for an experienced production & quality manager to oversee both production operations and quality control at AAC Block & AAC Panel manufacturing plant at Kapadvanj. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, optimizing manpower and resources, reducing production losses and wastage, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building materials manufacturing , with a good understanding of both production and quality functions , along with strong team-handling and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage and monitor daily production activities to achieve daily and monthly production targets.
• Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing of AAC Blocks and AAC Panels .
• Supervise production supervisors, operators, and shop-floor manpower.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, raw materials, machinery, and other resources.
• Monitor machine breakdowns, production losses, downtime, and wastage and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.

Quality Management

• Monitor the quality of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Ensure products meet defined specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Conduct and supervise dimensional, visual, and functional testing as applicable.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and process deviations and ensure timely corrective action.
• Analyze quality and production data to identify recurring issues and quality trends.
• Develop and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) .
• Reduce rejection, wastage, and quality-related production losses.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.

Process & Continuous Improvement.

• Monitor production processes and identify potential quality and productivity risks.
• Implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for production and quality-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality functions.
• Ensure quality checkpoints are properly integrated into the production process.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.
• Work closely with management to resolve production and quality-related issues.
• Ensure timely availability and proper utilization of raw materials and resources.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and proper use of PPE on the shop floor.
• Maintain discipline and safety standards among production and quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO and other industry quality standards .
• Support internal and external quality audits and maintain required documentation.

Team Management & Training

• Lead and manage production and quality teams effectively.
• Train employees on production processes, quality procedures, inspection methods, and safety practices.
• Develop a strong culture of quality, productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering—mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production, Civil, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, production planning, and manpower management.
• Experience in AAC Blocks/AAC Panels will be highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality systems, SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement .
• Good knowledge of QC tools and testing equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools .
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-handling skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing and dusty environment .
