Job summary
Orangem Future Technology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Technical Engineer to support installation, configuration, testing and customer support of smart home automation and security solutions at Madurai project sites.
You will coordinate with electricians, contractors, customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Role covers on-site site surveys, wiring, IP configuration, CCTV, access control and biometric system support, with opportunities to demonstrate products and document
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Basic understanding of networking and IP configuration.
- Knowledge of CCTV and security systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to use basic installation and testing tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
- Comfortable working at customer and project sites.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
- Site visits to understand technical requirements and project needs.
- Assist with basic site surveys, technical assessments, and installation planning.
- Install and configure smart home automation, security, networking, and ELV systems.
- Perform cable termination, device mounting, IP configuration, and basic network setup.
- Test installed devices and ensure proper system functionality before handover.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and attend customer service complaints effectively.
- Coordinate with electricians, contractors, customers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Provide basic product demonstrations and explain system functionality to customers.
- Maintain site updates, service reports, installation records, and project documentation.
- Handle tools, equipment, and project materials responsibly during installation and service activities.
- Support the sales team with technical clarification during customer meetings and site visits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The role provides practical exposure to integrated smarttechnology solutions used in residential and commercialprojects.
SECURITY TECHNOLOGY

Installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshootingof CCTV cameras and DVR/NVR systems.

Support installation and configuration of biometricand attendance systems.

Support access control systems, EM locks, and exitswitches.

Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot videodoor phone systems.

Support installation and configuration of digitaldoor lock solutions.

Assist with installation, testing, and troubleshootingof intercom systems.

Support installation and testing of alarm systemsand security sensors.
YOUR PROFILE
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
