in Chennai is seeking a Technical Content Writer who can research, understand, and develop curriculum and learning content for our STEM products, making complex ideas accessible to young learners. You will design end-to-end learning pathways, create project-based materials, and collaborate with engineers and designers to translate product features into engaging educational experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of STEM domains to translate knowledge into learning content.
• Conduct structured research using books, technical documentation, and real-world apps.
• Design end-to-end learning pathways by sequencing concepts and rationale behind each stage.
• Create project-based curricula that enable experiential learning.
• Develop high-quality student resources including lesson plans, worksheets, instructional guides, experiments, and assessments in a clear, engaging, and age-appropriate format.
• Ensure content is pedagogically sound, technically accurate, and easy for students to comprehend without oversimplifying core concepts.
• Break down complex STEM topics into practical, real-world learning experiences through hands-on activities and applied examples.
• Guide students through progressive learning stages from basic awareness to conceptual understanding to real-world application.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to gain a deep understanding of underlying technologies and system architecture.

We are looking for a Technical Content Writer who can go deep into subjects, think independently, and transform technical concepts into meaningful, engaging learning experiences for students.

About the role

This role is not just about writing lesson plans or preparing study material. It is about designing how students experience learning itself.

You will be responsible for researching, understanding, and developing curriculum and learning content for our STEM products.who is naturally curious and doesn’t stop at surface-level understanding. when given a topic, immediately starts breaking it down and asking deeper questions like why it works, how it is used in the real world, and how it can be taught in a way that feels exciting and intuitive for a student.

If you enjoy going deep into a subject before explaining it, this role will feel very natural to you.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of STEM domains such as robotics, electronics, drones, and programming to ensure strong conceptual clarity before translating knowledge into learning content.
• Conduct structured research using books, technical documentation, and real-world applications, continuously validating and refining understanding.
• Design end-to-end learning pathways for students by defining what concepts should be taught, in what sequence, and the educational rationale behind each stage.
• Create project-based and activity-driven curricula that enable experiential learning rather than passive consumption of information.
• Develop high-quality student learning resources including lesson plans, worksheets, instructional guides, experiments, and assessments in a clear, engaging, and ageappropriate format.
• Ensure all content is pedagogically sound, technically accurate, and easy for students to comprehend without oversimplifying core concepts.
• Break down complex STEM topics into practical, real-world learning experiences through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and applied examples.

Attention to detail, logical thinking, and the ability to work independently are very important. You should also be comfortable learning unfamiliar topics and turning them into clear, engaging content for young learners.

Good to Have

• Background in Engineering, Science, Education, English, or related fields
• Experience in curriculum design, instructional design, or STEM content
• Exposure to robotics, electronics, programming, or maker education
• Familiarity with NEP / CBSE / ICSE / IB / NGSS frameworks
• Experience in project-based learning
