Technical Consultant OFSAA EPM Suite
JR:
Role Overview
The IC4 Technical Consultant for the OFSAA Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting complex technical solutions across OFSAA PFT, FTP, Allocation Engine, Cost Management, and Profitability/MIS applications.
This role requires deep expertise in OFSAA Rule Framework, metadata design, high-performance SQL/PLSQL programming, ETL integration, and multi-module technical leadership.
The IC4 operates as a senior individual contributor, driving end-to-end technical delivery with minimal supervision and mentoring junior technical staff.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Solution Design & Architecture
- Design and implement advanced technical solutions for OFSAA EPM modulesFTP, PFT, Allocations, Costing, and MIS frameworks.
- Architect metadata models, DIM/FCT structures, hierarchy setups, and data transformation pipelines.
- Work with functional leads to translate profitability, costing, and allocation methodologies into optimized technical rule logic.
- Ensure architectural alignment with performance, scalability, and data quality standards.
2. Rule Framework Development & Configuration
- Build and optimize complex rule framework components:
- Allocation Rules (multi-level)
- Transformation Rules
- Driver-based allocations and cost models
- Profitability calculations
- FTP processing logic (standard, multi-pool, matched-term, liquidity premium)
- Implement custom logic using SQL, PLSQL, and dynamic rule constructs.
- Optimize rule execution sequences and batch performance.
3. SQL/PLSQL Engineering & Performance Optimization
- Develop highly efficient SQL/PLSQL packages, procedures, and transformations for large datasets (50M1B+ rows).
- Apply advanced performance tuning techniques—partition pruning, parallel execution, indexing strategy, gather stats automation, and materialized views.
- Resolve complex bottlenecks across FTP, PFT, and allocation runs.
4. ETL, Data Integration & Validation
- Design STG FCT Reporting layer data pipelines using PL/SQL, ODI, or Informatica.
- Lead data mapping, cleansing, reconciliation, and lineage documentation.
- Validate source system data for profitability and
5. Technical Delivery Ownership
- Own technical delivery for OFSAA EPM workstreams—design, build, test, optimize, deploy.
- Participate in SIT/UAT lifecycle, support functional validations, and conduct end-to-end batch executions.
- Prepare technical design documents, mapping sheets, and build guides with clear traceability.
6. Production Support & L3 Troubleshooting
- Resolve complex L3 issues, including batch failures, rule performance degradation, metadata issues, and data inconsistencies.
- Support production releases, hotfixes, and environment migrations (DEV SIT UAT PROD).
- Work with DBAs and platform teams for Exadata, OCI, or on-prem tuning.
7. Cross-Team Collaboration & Mentoring
- Collaborate with functional EPM consultants to understand profitability and costing logic deeply.
- Guide IC1–IC3 technical team members through code reviews, design coaching, and solution walkthroughs.
- Work with data, infra, and reporting teams to ensure holistic delivery.
