The IC3 Technical Consultant for the OFSAA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) suite is responsible for hands‑on development, configuration, data integration, and technical support across OFSAA modules such as ALM, LRM, Basel, FTP, and PFT. The role focuses on building and optimizing technical components, supporting implementation tasks, and ensuring high‑quality delivery under the guidance of senior consultants or technical leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure OFSAA ERM modules including ALM, LRM, Basel, FTP, and PFT based on approved functional design.
- Configure rule framework components (transformations, allocations, business rules) under supervision.
- Set up metadata objects, hierarchies, DIM/FCT attributes, product mappings, and driver inputs.
- Develop SQL/PLSQL scripts, packages, stored procedures, and views for data transformations, validations, and performance fixes.
- Build staging‑to‑foundation layer mapping logic as per design documents.
- Support development of data validation routines, exception handling, and reconciliation checks.
- Work with ETL teams (ODI, Informatica, or PL/SQL‑based ingestion) to load data into OFSAA staging and foundation layers.
- Assist in defining and implementing data pipelines under guidance of senior technical consultants.
- Perform data profiling, quality checks, and troubleshoot data load failures.
- Prepare unit test cases and participate in SIT/UAT cycles to validate rule execution and scenario outputs.
- Support migration activities between development, SIT, UAT, and production environments.
- Provide root‑cause analysis for defects raised during testing.
- Run OFSAA batch jobs, cash flow engines, scenario executions, and rule runs as part of development and testing cycles.
- Monitor performance and support tuning activities guided by senior team members.
- Capture log files, engine outputs, and work with leads to resolve errors.
- Maintain technical documentation, mapping specifications, data validation logs, unit test scripts, and configuration trackers.
- Provide inputs for design documents e.g., data mapping sheets, rule‑to‑field matrices.
- Work closely with functional consultants to interpret requirements and convert them into technical builds.
- Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and OFSAA product support teams as needed.
- Raise technical risks and issues to senior members in a timely manner.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in SQL/PLSQL programming including joins, analytic functions, and performance‑aware coding.
- Working knowledge of OFSAA components such as Metadata Framework (DIM/FCT structures), Rule Framework (transformations, allocations, business rules), and Cash flow engines and scenario execution flows.
- Experience with ETL tools (ODI or Informatica) or PL/SQL‑based ingestion frameworks.
- Understanding of Oracle database concepts: partitioning, indexing, statistics, performance basics.
- Familiarity with Linux commands, batch execution, and log analysis.
- Basic to moderate knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity, Basel, or FTP concepts.
- Understanding of bank product data structures (loans, deposits, securities, derivatives).
- Ability to interpret functional specifications and implement the required technical logic.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured development processes.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with functional and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently on well‑defined tasks and seek guidance when needed.
- Eagerness to learn advanced OFSAA features and risk management concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in OFSAA or financial data warehousing.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one OFSAA ERM module (ALM/LRM/Basel/FTP).
- Experience working in Agile/DevOps‑based delivery projects.
- Exposure to OFSAA on Exadata/OCI environments (good to have).
- OFSAA certification or Oracle SQL certification (optional advantage).
