Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 35 years of enterprise application implementation experience, including at least 2+ years delivering medium to large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Experience in REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, SFTP, OAuth.
• Data migration, ETL processes, data validation, transformation, reconciliation.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data structures, and system architecture concepts.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, C#, or similar technologies.
• Experience with middleware/integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Workato.
• Experience with leading HCM platforms like Cornerstone, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UKG.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement technical solutions for enterprise HCM and business applications.
• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations using APIs, REST/SOAP, SFTP, middleware, and other integration technologies.
• Design, build, validate, and execute data migration activities including mapping, transformation, cleansing, loading, and reconciliation.
• Develop reports, dashboards, analytics, and data extracts for customer reporting requirements.
• Configure security, permissions, workflows, notifications, and platform components per design.
• Collaborate with Business Consultants to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in design sessions, workshops, architecture discussions, and implementation planning.
• Perform technical analysis, troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, implement resolutions.
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators, automation scripts, and deployment best practices.
• Support testing activities: unit, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment readiness.
• Create and maintain technical design docs, integration specs, data mappings, deployment guides, and KT materials.
• Assist with environment and release management, deployment activities, and production cutover planning.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams and vendors during integrations and implementations.
• Contribute to pre-sales with technical estimations, architecture guidance, POCs, and demonstrations.
• Mentor junior consultants on coding standards and delivery excellence.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and KPIs.

The Technical Consultant is responsible for delivering technical consulting services throughout the implementation lifecycle, including integrations, data migration, system configuration, reporting, automation, and custom development. The consultant works closely with Business Consultants, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while adhering to technical best practices and implementation standards.
