Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Technical Associate - Application Support in India to monitor SQL jobs, debug failures, and assist end-users with application issues. You will collaborate with internal teams, maintain documentation, test updates, and train users on best practices.

The role involves on-call onsite support for critical issues and contributes to continuous improvement in application performance. Hybrid work arrangements are available in India.

Qualifications

• Minimum education in computer engineering/science/IT with relevant degrees.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and agile methodologies.
• Experience with SQL, Unix shell scripting, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Attend status calls and actively participate in project updates.
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL jobs to resolve issues.
• Debug SQL job failures and investigate root causes.
• Handle ad-hoc user report enquiries and respond promptly.
• Escalate issues to vendors and provide on-call onsite support for critical problems.
• Provide technical support to end-users for application issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and configure software solutions.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and troubleshooting steps.
• Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
• Assist in testing and deploying software updates and patches.
• Conduct training sessions on application usage and best practices.

• Actively attend and participate in status call.
• Monitoring and solving the issues related to SQL jobs
• Debugging SQL Jobs Failure
• Handle users ad‑hoc report enquiry
• Raising issues to vendors and on call support onsite for very critical issue
• Provide technical support to end‑users for application‑related issues;
• Troubleshoot and resolve software problems to minimize downtime;
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement and configure software solutions;
• Maintain documentation of application configurations and troubleshooting steps;
