Job summary

Sova Health is seeking a senior technical leader to design and build an internal platform from scratch. This role combines software engineering depth, database architecture, product thinking and leadership to scale for the next 5–10 years.

You will build a unified CRM and patient journey platform, medical data pipelines and an AI-ready infra, while guiding a new engineering team and ensuring healthcare-compliant systems. This is a high-impact leadership role based in India.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years in Software Engineering, Technical Architecture, Data Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Previous roles: Technical Lead, Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, Engineering Lead or Database Architect.
• Experience building internal platforms or operational systems from 0→1.
• Experience leading engineering teams in high-growth startups.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior technical leader to design and build Sova's internal platform from scratch. This is not a traditional Product Owner role. The ideal candidate combines software engineering depth, database architecture expertise, product thinking and leadership skills to build technology that will scale for the next 5-10 years.

What You'll Build

• Unified CRM and patient journey platform
• Clinical operations and EMR workflows
• Diagnostics data platform (microbiome, blood tests, food logs, wearable data)
• AI-ready infrastructure for research, analytics and ML deployment
