Job summary

Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services Limited is seeking a procurement professional to drive strategic sourcing and supplier management for pharmaceutical formulations in Hyderabad. The role focuses on timely POs, supplier relationships, and regulatory documentation for submissions.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of pharma sourcing experience, exposure to regulated markets, and hands-on SAP MM knowledge, GMP exposure, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of pharmaceutical sourcing/procurement experience, preferably in formulations.
• Exposure to regulated markets, vendor qualification, and supply chain operations.
• Working knowledge of SAP MM, GMP, regulatory requirements, commercial agreements, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for formulation projects.
• Ensure timely purchase order placement and material availability.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and continuity of supply.
• Coordinate documentation for regulatory submissions, vendor qualification, audits, and quality agreements.
• Support product lifecycle activities from material procurement through finished product delivery.
• Manage artwork finalization and packaging-related coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate and execute commercial agreements in collaboration with Legal, QA, RA, and business teams.
• Monitor procurement hygiene, open deviations, vendor performance, and compliance requirements.

Responsible for ensuring timely availability of APIs, excipients, packaging materials, and other project requirements through effective sourcing and procurement strategies to support uninterrupted formulation project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for formulation projects.
• Ensure timely purchase order placement and material availability.
