Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune seeks a Lead Quality professional to head the QA function for casting, machining and coating processes. You will drive TPM and QMS implementations to achieve zero defects, reduce customer complaints, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 through cross-functional collaboration.

• BE with 12/15 Years of Experience in leading QA function for 100 % export-oriented unit.
• Preference for experience in driving Zero defect through TPM QM Pillar & MR role for IATF 16949.
• Casting, Machining and Powder coating process knowledge is must.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality team & drive implementation of TPM & QMS processes to achieve Zero defect.
• Drive Defect Prevention Programs to achieve Zero Customer complaints. Establish Proactive controls through FMEA, SPC, PPAP, MSA & in-process and PDI Inspection in all shifts. Ensure timely set-up approvals through Spectro & CMM Labs.
• Ensuring the products / processes are meeting the defined expectations to eliminate customer complaints.
• Reviewing / analyzing the defects, rejections, processes & Coordinating with the process owners for continual improvement.
• Calibration & MSA activity As per Plan, monitoring of CAPA & drive sustenance.
• Knowledge of Core tool and effective use of these tools for product and process improvement.
• Imparting training to shop floor employees for quality related topics.
• Taking action against shop floor discipline issues & maintain 5S
• Conduct product and process audits to identify the gaps against specifications and 4M & T to take necessary improvements.
• Co-ordination with Team for various KPI and KAI Activities defined for Zero Defect.
• Capability building of team through technical competency mapping & integration with training systems
• Use of TPM QM pillar methodology and PM analysis activities for various defect eliminations.
• Strengthening of PDI and Firewall Activities to prevent outflow of the defects.
• Internal Audits as per QMS (ISO 9001 & IATF 16949) to identify the system gaps and actions to close the NC.
• Poka yoke drive for identification and implementation of Prevention and Detection poka yoke.

Job Objective

Lead Quality organization for the Casting / Machining plant. Maintain & Ensure Quality Assurance Systems to Achieve Zero Defect, Customer Communications & Customer Complaints. Ensuring adherence to standards, driving continuous improvement, and facilitating effective communication with cross-functional teams to achieve customer satisfaction. Able to handle overseas customer for various Quality topics.
