Job summary

Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals is seeking a diligent accounting professional in Chennai to manage daily financial data entry, ledger maintenance, and vendor invoice processing. You will support ERP-based payments, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings, ensuring accurate records.

The role involves gathering documents for audits and coordinating documentation for internal and external reviews, contributing to timely financial reporting and compliance in a dynamic container-terminal

Responsibilities

• Enter financial data, update ledgers, and maintain accurate records of daily business transactions.
• Process vendor invoices, Track Payment , and settling the same in the ERP.
• Compare bank statements with internal accounts to reconcile and report the errors if any.
• Co-ordinate for month end closures by following for invoices, checking approvals and uploading for further processing.
• Gather receipts, files, and documents for internal and external audits
