Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional to manage day-to-day store operations for the T&D business.

You will oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials, verify documents and maintain accurate ERP records. The role requires 7–12 years in stores or inventory management, and a degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related fields; MBA in Supply Chain is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations will be an added advantage.
• 7–12 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory Management, or Material Management.
• Experience in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D), EPC, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Engineering industry will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management
• Experience with ERP/SAP or other inventory management systems
• Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end store operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage, preservation, and identification.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/system and ensure timely system updates.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, logistics, and finance teams for smooth material movement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation of GRNs, material issue slips, stock registers, and other store records.
• Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and process improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and 5S practices within the stores.
