Job summary

Mech Power in Gujarat, India seeks a Quality Assurance professional to ensure quality of incoming materials and products throughout the production realization process. You will conduct root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and maintain a zero-defect culture using proactive tools.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections per drawings, maintaining 1S/2S, and ensuring safety procedures while keeping customers informed of quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Ensure quality of incoming materials and products per QA plan.
• Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain zero-defect culture in supply chain and organization.
• Use proactive quality tools (7 QC tools, 8D) to achieve zero defects.
• Identify defects or deviations and coordinate with production to resolve.
• Conduct In-process & Final inspection as per drawing.
• Maintain 1S & 2S in the workplace.
• Follow safety instructions & procedures.
• Ensure transparency of quality deliverables to customers.
• Awareness of instruments and gauges.
• Knowledge of reading drawings, QA plan & work instructions.

• Ensure quality of incoming materials and products throughout the production realization process as per defined Quality Assurance plan.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Create and maintain a culture of zero defect quality in the supply chain and organization.
• Ensure zero defect products by using proactive quality tools (7 qc tools, 8D).
• Identify defects or Deviation from standard and work with the production team to resolve them.
• Perform In-process & Final inspection as per drawing.
• Maintain 1S & 2S in the workplace.
• Follow safety instructions & Procedures.
• Ensure transparency of quality deliverables to customers.
• Awareness of Instruments & Gauges. ( Vernier Calliper, Micrometer, & DFT Meter )
• Knowledge of drawing reading, Quality assurance plan & Work instructions.
