You will oversee maintenance schedules, process compliance, and budget adherence, guiding technicians and ensuring GMP and regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications

• B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical engineering.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in utilities maintenance.
• Experience with machinery maintenance and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery.
• Ensure adherence to statutory norms.
• Implement Planned Maintenance system to maximize line availability and efficiency.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly schedules are followed per norms.
• Achieve targets for yields of FO, electricity and HSD.
• Keep stock of critical inventory.
• Guide maintenance supervisor for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• In charge of Workshop.
• Ensure records and inventory cards for all equipment.
• Ensure safety systems and GMP practices in plant areas.
• Adhere to local labor, pollution control, and safety regulations.

Job Description:

Objective: To manage all maintenance activities in the plant to ensure adherence to production schedules and maximize productivity. Knowledge of 40 power Compressor, chiller, boiler.

Title: Team Leader - Utilities

Function: Supply Chain

Work Location: Plant

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure proper maintenance of machinery.

2. Ensuring statutory norms.

3. Timely implementation of Planned Maintenance system for the proper care of Plant and machinery and which will maximize line availability and efficiency.

4. Ensuring that daily, weekly and monthly schedule are carried out as per recommended norm

5. Ensure the targets for the Yields of FO, Electricity and HSD are achieved.

6. Keeping stock of critical inventory.

7. Guide maintenance supervisor for preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.

8. In charge of Workshop.

9. Ensure records and inventory cards for all equipments are properly documented.

10. Ensuring technical and statutory norms for equipments.

11. Ensure maintenance of Plant and machinery in safest possible conditions.

12. Responsibility for preparation and control of annual plant maintenance budget.

13. Responsibility for adherence to local laws, especially labor laws, pollution control , fire and explosives , safety electrical installations etc.

14. Direct responsibility to implement the safety systems in the plant area

15. Ensure GMP practices in all work areas

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: B.Tech. /B.E. (Mechanical)

Experience: 4 to 5 years

Functional Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of the technology of the beverage production and quality characteristics
2. Thorough understanding of the various process parameters and their implication on delivering the quality specifications of the product
3. Ability to implement systems and procedures for all the manufacturing activities in the plant
4. Awareness of the quality control procedures and techniques for product, raw and packaging materials
5. Awareness of the FPO laws and regulations
6. Ability to understand the operating procedures for all equipment.
7. Ability to understand and monitor productivity indicators of the plant.

Maintenance

1. Ability to implement preventive maintenance systems
2. Thorough knowledge of the technical details of the various equipment in the plant
3. Awareness of the various basic electronics and control systems used in the plant and in the beverage industry
4. Ability to monitor equipment performance
5. Ability to train personnel on the operation and maintenance of all utilities.
