Job summary

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB) is seeking a Team Leader – Finance to lead MIS development and pricing/value chain management. You will support the Commercial Finance function with timely, accurate financial reporting and close coordination with the Corporate Operation finance team.

The role emphasizes analytics, data mining, and process improvements, including month-end closings, budgeting, and variance analysis to drive informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Graduation in Commerce or higher with statistics specialization.
• Postgraduate qualifications in statistics and analytics are preferred.
• Certifications in Analytics Areas and Business Intelligence/Data Mining are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end financial closing activities.
• Prepare budget, revised estimate, and mid-month estimates.
• Reconcile net revenue, P&L, and operating expenses; ensure accurate reporting.

Job Objective : Preparing MIS to help management in decision making. Maintenance of pricing and value chains
Reporting : Commercial Finance Manager – GT TN
Supervises : None

Job Responsibilities

• Month end Financial Closing Activities
• Preparation of Budget planning, revised estimate, and mid-month estimate
• Preparation of various reconciliation of Net revenue, earning statement, vertical P & Ls and operational expenditure
• BSR preparation and ensuring clearance of open aging items
• Timely submission of monthly reports to Corporate Operation finance team
• Ensuring timely closure of audit open points
• Review of controls and informing to manager in case of non-compliance
• Take an active part in implementing new process/ policies based on audit recommendations.
• Simplification & Automation of Reporting processes
• Tracking of OU support and ensuring timely submission of data to raise claims
• Ensure timely book closure monthly in line with the Global reporting timetable
• For Quarter end & Year End Book close, make sure that all costs are properly accrued for.
• Ensure that actual figures reflect true financial status
• Assist in all finance related audits impacting overall area of responsibility, changes/amendments to Standard Operating Procedures based on these recommendations
  

Job Requirement

Minimum Education:Graduate of Commerce / Post Graduate qualification from a reputed Institute /University Specialization in statistics; Certification in Analytics Areas ,Certification in Business Intelligence and Data Mining
Minimum Work Experience:3-4 years of Reporting & Analysis experience, data mining, etc. Should also have strong functional knowledge in Commercial and Operations functions, hands on experience of handling operations and commercial reporting for zone with 2-3 yrs in working capital
