Job summary

Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB) invites applications for a Team Leader- Finance in Mumbai. The role focuses on commercial finance MIS, price management, and working capital controls across the FMCG business.

The candidate should have strong analytics skills, experience in finance reporting, and proficiency with SAP and Excel. Travel up to 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce or PG with analytics emphasis.
• Certification in Analytics and BI/Data Mining is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare commercial finance MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on volume, NR and OI.
• Prepare monthly value chain reports for all packs at Unit/Channel level.
• Create profitability reports by customer, ASM and SM.
• Review trade margins and Net pricing model as per policies.
• Upload price master to MDM and review accuracy.
• Record and review distributor discounts; process credit notes.
• Prepare AR/COL reports and issue dunning letters per policy.
• Follow up AR/COL >15 days and escalate.
• Prepare monthly provisions and balance sheet schedules.
• Maintain distributor agreements and security cheques.
• Plan and track discounts and distributor incentives.
• Conduct monthly stock counts and reconciliations.

Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

Objective:

1. Responsible for commercial finance related MIS reports, like Daily, weekly and monthly updates on volume, NR and OI.
2. Preparation of monthly standardized value chains for all packs at Unit/Channel level
3. Preparation of customer, ASM and SM wise profitability reports
4. Maintenance of price master for both direct and indirect. Review of trade margins and Net pricing model in line with commercial policy / Trade Margin Policy.
5. Timely raising SPAF & ensuring approvals as per COA and then sending price master upload template to MDM team & periodic review for accuracy
6. Upload primary discount schemes of all distributors and ensure discount is captured on invoice. Monthly review of sales register and processing of credit notes for rate differences.
7. Preparation of AR/COL report and sending dunning letters as per policy.
8. Review & follow up for AR/COL of customers and send dunning letter, if AR > 15 days.
9. Preparation of monthly provision workings like BBD, AR & COL.
10. Preparation of monthly balance sheet schedules like AR, GOD, COL & prepaid advertisement schedules.
11. Maintenance of distributor agreements and security cheques.
12. Discount planning and tracking of discount spends on weekly basis.
13. Tracking of distributor incentives and preparations of distributor incentive workings and processing
14. Monthly Physical stock counting and reconciliations

Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Education: Graduate of Commerce / Post Graduate qualification from a reputed Institute /University Specialization in statistics; Certification in Analytics Areas ,Certification in Business Intelligence and Data Mining

Minimum Work Experience:8-12 years of Reporting & Analysis experience, data mining, etc. Should also have strong functional knowledge in Commercial and Operations functions, hands on experience of handling operations and commercial reporting for zone with 2-3 yrs in working capital
