Job summary

Lawson Fuses, Nasik plant in Maharashtra, India, seeks an experienced finance professional for a full-time onsite Finance Controller role. The role focuses on delivering accurate MIS, detailed financial analysis, and a robust finance function to support the business.

The position covers day-to-day finance operations, closing of books, reconciliations, banking, AR/AP, inventory, credit control, and treasury within DoA, with mentoring of the finance team to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA/CMA or semi-qualified with minimum 5 years in a medium-sized company with turnover around INR 25Cr to 50Cr (MNE preferable).
• Minimum 8–10 years working experience and a minimum of 5 years in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance function.
• Prepare and close books of accounts – MIS.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Manage Banking & Finance, AR, AP, Inventory, credit control.
• Treasury within DoA limits.
• Provide budgeting, MIS and stakeholder information.

Job Purpose:

This is a full-time onsite role based in our Indian plant ( Nasik , Maharashtra). This role reports to Financial Controller, and the main objective of this role will be to provide accurate MIS. Achieved through delivery of an efficient day-to-day finance function whilst seeking to add value with detailed analysis supporting the Financial Controller to deliver a quality finance function for the business.

Key Accountabilities

These will include:

• Oversee day to day operations of the finance function
• Preparation and financial closing of books of accounts – MIS
• Perform reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of variances
• Banking & Finance
• Accounts Receivable Management
• Accounts Payable Management
• Inventory Management
• Credit control and order assessment
• Treasury – Within DoA levels
• Provide information for Budgeting, MIS and stakeholder management
• Support with Audit requirements and documentation (internal and external)
• Mentor to Finance assistant to strive for continuous improvement and team development

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant or semi qualified with experience of minimum 5 Year in Medium size company with T/O of around INR 25Cr to 50Cr. (MNE preferable)
• Minimum 8 to 10 years working experience and a minimum of 5 years
