Job summary

Schindler Group India is seeking a Sr. Customer Engineer / Customer Engineer for Existing Installation in Ahmedabad. You will execute call-backs, perform safety inspections, and lead intricate repairs while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires 5 to 12 years in elevator or related manufacturing service, with a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or ITI. You will collaborate with teams to ensure reliable operations and customer satisfaction.

• Qualification: Degree / Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics) or ITI.
• Strong safety orientation and technical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute call-backs on existing elevator installations, addressing customer concerns to maintain performance.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections on elevators and document findings.
• Perform repair tasks on elevator systems, including electrical, mechanical, and control issues.
• Interact with customers to diagnose issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engineers to coordinate complex repair tasks.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Execute call-backs on existing elevator installations, promptly addressing customer concerns to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections on elevators to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
• Perform intricate repair tasks on elevator systems, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues with high technical precision and adherence to industry standards.
• Interact with customers to diagnose issues and provide solutions, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and engineers to share insights and coordinate efforts on more complex repair and service tasks, ensuring efficient resolution and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

Qualification: Degree / Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics) or ITI
