Job summary

Schindler India Pvt Ltd in Ahmedabad invites applications for the role of Senior Customer Engineer / Customer Engineer - Existing Installation. You will service and maintain elevator systems, address customer concerns, and ensure safety and reliability.

You will perform inspections, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, and work with colleagues to complete repair tasks, delivering high-quality service and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or ITI.
• 5–12 years in Elevator or manufacturing service/maintenance.
• Strong focus on safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Execute call-backs on existing elevator installations to address customer concerns and ensure reliability.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections of elevators and document findings with corrective actions.
• Perform intricate repair tasks on elevator systems, troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and control issues with precision.
• Interact with customers to diagnose issues and provide solutions, maintaining professionalism.
• Collaborate with colleagues and engineers to coordinate complex repair tasks and improve service quality.

Your main responsibilities

• Execute call-backs on existing elevator installations, promptly addressing customer concerns to maintain optimal performance and reliability.


• Conduct periodic safety inspections on elevators to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.


• Perform intricate repair tasks on elevator systems, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues with high technical precision and adherence to industry standards.


• Interact with customers to diagnose issues and provide solutions, maintaining a professional demeanor and fostering a positive customer experience.


• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and engineers to share insights and coordinate efforts on more complex repair and service tasks, ensuring efficient resolution and continuous improvement.

What you bring Qualification:

Degree / Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics) or ITI Professional Experience : 5 to 12 years in the Elevator or manufacturing industry in Service/ Maintenance Department
