Job summary

Durucooperation in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Team Leader (Data Center) to steer data center operations and infrastructure support. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure while leading technical teams and managing incidents.

You will oversee servers, storage, networking, virtualization, backup, and monitoring, and drive continuous improvement, capacity planning, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• 15-20 years of relevant experience in Data Center Operations, Infrastructure Management, or a similar environment.
• Proven experience managing and leading technical infrastructure teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with Dell/HPE/Lenovo/Cisco UCS, SAN/NAS and enterprise storage technologies.
• Strong knowledge of VMware/Hyper‑V, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of data center power, cooling, environmental controls, and physical infrastructure.
• Experience in Incident, Change, Problem Management, RCA, SLA/KPI and ITIL processes.
• Proven experience in vendor management, stakeholder management, and critical incident escalation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Data Center Operations & Infrastructure team.
• Ensure 24x7 availability, stability, and smooth operation of data center infrastructure.
• Oversee servers, storage, network devices, virtualization, backup, and monitoring systems.
• Manage data center power, cooling, rack space, environmental monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate hardware installation, upgrades, migration, expansion, and decommissioning activities.
• Drive incident, problem, change management, RCA, and critical escalation processes.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, security, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, SLA/KPI adherence, and operational efficiency.
• Manage vendors, service providers, and stakeholder relationships.
• Prepare operational, capacity, performance, and management reports.
• Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and drive technical development and continuous improvement.
