SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai seeks a Senior Manager - DC Infrastructure to lead enterprise Data Center operations, including server, storage, virtualization, backup and DR.

You will guide a team of engineers and administrators to design, implement, and govern mission-critical infrastructure. The role requires strong hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP, VMware, Windows/Linux servers, and backup technologies, plus the ability to drive standards, governance, and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 12+ years of Infrastructure Operations experience.
• 5+ years managing Data Center Infrastructure teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in NetApp Storage and Server Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Data Center operations and infrastructure services.
• Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of compute, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Drive infrastructure modernization and transformation initiatives.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - DC Infrastructure to lead enterprise Data Center operations with deep expertise in Server Infrastructure, NetApp Storage Administration, Virtualization, Backup & Disaster Recovery, and Infrastructure Operations. The role will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of mission-critical infrastructure while leading a team of engineers and administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Data Center Infrastructure Management

• Lead end-to-end Data Center operations and infrastructure services.
• Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of compute, storage, and virtualization environments.
• Drive infrastructure modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Define infrastructure standards, governance, and operational best practices.

Server Administration Leadership

• Manage enterprise Windows and Linux server environments.
• Oversee server lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability and operational excellence across server infrastructure.
• Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, clustering, and virtualization platforms.

NetApp Storage Administration

• Lead administration of NetApp ONTAP storage environments.
• Manage storage provisioning, aggregates, volumes, LUNs, NFS/CIFS shares, and replication.
• Oversee SnapMirror, SnapVault, storage backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Monitor storage capacity, performance, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure storage availability and business continuity requirements are met.

Virtualization & Cloud

• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Hyper‑V environments.
• Support hybrid infrastructure and cloud integration initiatives.
• Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure optimization programs.

Backup, DR & Business Continuity

• Lead backup administration using Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.
• Define and execute Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Conduct DR drills and recovery testing.
• Ensure RPO and RTO objectives are achieved.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor infrastructure, server, and storage teams.
• Manage escalations and critical incidents.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams.
• Manage OEM and vendor relationships.
