Job summary

ICF India is seeking an experienced programme and project manager to support large-scale rooftop solar and related governance efforts in New Delhi. You will coordinate with government agencies, utilities and internal divisions to drive progress, prepare SBDs and manuals, and deliver executive-level briefs for decision forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Renewable Energy/Power Systems).
• MBA or equivalent combined with engineering degree.
• Experience with Central Govt./State Govts/ Agencies in India.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.

• Drive daily progress and performance analysis, issue resolution discipline and reporting quality across PMU workstreams.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical/Renewable Energy/Power Systems) AND Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from NIT/IIT and Master’s degree from IIT/IIM

Minimum experience:

12+ years of relevant experience.

Specific Project Experience:

3+ years’ experience with Central Govt./State Govts/ Agencies in India, on Rooftop Solar.

Preferred competencies / skills:

• Strong programme management and governance discipline (cadence, action tracking, closure).
• Ability to translate complex issues into crisp briefs and executive-ready presentations.
• Stakeholder coordination capability across government, utilities, vendors and programme agencies.
• Strong analytical thinking and comfort with performance metrics and dashboards.
