Job summary

ICF seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer in New Delhi to support monitoring and programme management activities for PM Surya Ghar, PM-KUSUM, and state renewable energy initiatives in Maharashtra.

The candidate will coordinate with MEDA, MSEDCL, vendors and district stakeholders, track milestones, maintain databases, and assist in analytics and reporting. Requires a BE/BTech in electrical or mechanical engineering (Master’s preferred) and 2+ years in renewables. On-site role with ICF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy sector; Experience in at least one renewable energy project.

Working Relationships

• Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.
• Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.
• Produce clear, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
• Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
