Job summary

ICF Olson in New Delhi is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead end-to-end PMU support for rooftop solar initiatives. You will coordinate with government bodies, utilities and agencies, ensure governance cadence, and produce executive-ready briefs and documents for decision forums.

The role requires strong programme management skills, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to translate complex issues into concise reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience with Central Govt./State Govts/ Agencies in India, on Rooftop Solar.
• Ability to translate complex issues into crisp briefs for executive reviews.
• Stakeholder coordination across government, utilities, vendors and programme agencies.

Responsibilities

• Overall programme and project management support, including coordination with key stakeholders and internal divisions.
• Support regulatory coordination and integration of good practices for scheme execution and governance.
• Lead preparation and oversight of scheme-level standard documents, including SBDs, implementation manuals/quality documents and master decks for reviews.
• Develop background notes, analytical briefs and presentation material for high-level reviews and decision forums.
• Drive daily progress and performance analysis, issue resolution discipline and reporting quality across PMU workstreams.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical/Renewable Energy/Power Systems) AND Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from NIT/IIT and Master’s degree from IIT/IIM

Preferred competencies / skills

• Strong programme management and governance discipline (cadence, action tracking, closure).
• Ability to translate complex issues into crisp briefs and executive-ready presentations.
• Stakeholder coordination capability across government, utilities, vendors and programme agencies.
• Strong analytical thinking and comfort with performance metrics and dashboards.
