Job summary

DeutschPro India, the Indian branch of GfW, seeks a reliable Team Lead for our Operations Support department in Pune to support the ongoing development of local operations. You will oversee daily operations, lead a growing team, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and drive scalable workflows.

The role requires at least 2 years in operations or project coordination and fluency in English; German at B2 level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operation Support Team in pre-planning language courses and official language exams across international school locations
• Own end-to-end operational processes – from scheduling and resource planning to quality control and continuous improvement
• Identify bottlenecks, define standards, and ensure processes are documented, understood, and followed
• Act as the central interface between school locations, internal teams, and external partners
• Drive the setup and refinement of workflows that scale as our network grows

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Team Lead for ourOperations Support department in Pune to support the ongoing development of our local operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, leading and developing a growing team, and ensuring efficient administrative and operational processes.

Your role

Your profile

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in operations or project coordination
• Structured, reliable, and independent working style
• Fluent in English, German at B2 level
• Strong communication skills and intercultural competence
• Good PC and MS Office skills
• Based in Pune
