Job summary

Jobs Hr Agency Vadodara seeks a seasoned supervisor with 5-9 years of moulding operations experience in plastics manufacturing. You will drive OEE targets, safety, and cost controls while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14000.

You will lead training, coordinate with planning, Quality, Purchasing, HR, and Maintenance to sustain day-to-day production and continuous improvement. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Plastics Technology or a PG Diploma from CIPET and demonstrate strong

Qualifications

• Diploma in Plastics Technology or PG Diploma from CIPET.
• 5 to 9 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Moulding operations.
• Accountable for achieving the manufacturing metrics target as set in the management objective e.g. OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Responsible for safety and loss time cases (OSHAS).
• Responsible for cost control on scrap and tooling consumables.
• Recruit, train and evaluate workmen to meet job requirements.
• Coordinate with Material planning, quality, purchasing, HR, and maintenance to carry out day-to-day activities.
• Ensure implementation and compliance to systems like IATF 16949, Q1 and ISO 14000.
• Coordinate team activities, communicate daily production schedules, and balance workload to optimize shift performance.
• Identify root causes of problems and drive problem solving on equipment/process quality issues.
• Support quality systems, audits, and gauge & R&A activities.

Education

Diploma in Plastics Technology or PG Diploma from CIPET

Main Responsibilities

• Accountable for Moulding operations
• Accountable for achieving the manufacturing metrics target as set in the management objective o OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
• FTT (First time through) o Safety (Lost time cases)
• Responsible for cost control on o Scrap o Consumables (tooling, process material. .
• Recruit, train-evaluate workmen to meet the job requirement.
• Conflict resolution
• Responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting of issues relating to equipment, process, internal and customer quality issues.
• Interact with Material planning, quality, purchasing, HR, Maintenance functions to effectively carryout day to day activities.
• Ensure implementation of and compliance to systems like IATF 16949, Q1 and ISO 14000 in their respective areas.
• OSHAS Certification: Implementation & Compliance to Safety & Loss Control Policy
• Co-ordinate all the activities of the Team.
• Communicate the team about the production schedule for the day and ensure adherence
• Job allotment to the Team Members.
• Co-ordinate with Team Members & balance work load to obtain optimal Performance in Shifts.
• Identify root cause of problems and solve issues in line.
• Quality system / Procedures adherence
• Support Process Audits
• Gauge R&A support
• QOS Reports
• Highlight quality issues to Incoming Quality and ensure closure of concerns
