Job summary

ARaymond is looking for a Diploma, CIPET qualified professional with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our operations team in India. The role involves planning and scheduling shift production targets, driving productivity improvements and maintaining quality across packaging and labels.

You will oversee material handling, machine programming, and operator training. The candidate should bring knowledge of plastic and steel raw materials, 5S methodology, EH&S risk management, and strong teamwork

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Plastic Raw Material and Steel Raw Material.
  • Familiar with 5S workplace organization.
  • Understanding of Environment, Health and Safety risk management.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule shift production targets within the line.
  • Drive productivity improvements and control rejects.
  • Program machines per production schedules and troubleshoot problems.
  • Monitor material issuance and ensure accurate storage and matching.
  • Manage manpower and optimize utilization.
  • Ensure product quality, labeling and packaging.
  • Train operators before handover of machines.
  • Prepare monthly production and machine analysis reports.

Role and responsibilities

Operations

  • Responsible for planning & scheduling shift production targets in a particular shift
  • Responsible for productivity improvement and rejection control
  • Responsible for machine ideal time/hold time
  • Responsible for Machine programming as per the production schedule and machine trouble shooting
  • Monitoring raw material issued and finished goods supplied to store and material matching
  • Responsible for manpower handing and their effective utilization
  • Responsible for checking product quality, label marking and packaging
  • Responsible for operator training before handover of the machine
  • Responsible for order closing and filling the scrap note or details of non‑usable material post every order closing
  • Prepare Monthly production report
  • Prepare Machine‑wise monthly analysis report
  • Prepare monthly report on mold changeover ideal time, mold changeover hold time, repair time for analysis
  • Prepare daily productivity MIS PPM
  • Factory order closing report
  • Supporting molding in‑charge for special projects
  • Handle internal as well as customer audits
  • Responsible for internal & external customer complaint & analysis
  • Responsible for SG implementation

Self & Team Management

  • Training & Development of subordinates
  • Attend training programs (behavioral/ technical), seminars conducted/sponsored by company
  • Initiate self-learning and gain knowledge of other skills, regular participation in exhibition, trade fares etc.
  • Regular mentoring of the team
Education and experience

Diploma, CIPET with 4 to 8 years experience
