Job description

Clari5, a product of CustomerXPs (now part of the Perfios group), is a category-leading real-time Enterprise Financial Crime Management platform trusted by banks across 15+ countries. The platform processes 12 billion+ transactions and secures over 200 million accounts, helping financial institutions combat fraud, manage AML compliance, and drive revenue — all in real time. Clari5 is consistently recognised in Chartis RiskTech Quadrants and has won multiple global awards for fraud detection innovation.

Role Overview

The Team Lead – Implementation is a high-impact delivery role within Clari5’s Global Professional Services team. You will lead end-to-end implementation engagements of the Clari5 platform at banking and financial institution clients, owning project delivery from kick-off to go-live. You will manage a small squad of functional and technical consultants, serve as the primary client interface during implementation, and ensure every deployment meets Clari5’s quality, timeline, and customer-satisfaction benchmarks.

This role sits at the intersection of banking domain expertise, product knowledge, and project leadership — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and wants to shape how one of the world’s most advanced fraud management platforms goes live at marquee banks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation Delivery
  • Own end-to-end delivery of Clari5 implementations from project initiation to go-live and hypercare, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, milestone trackers, risk logs, and status dashboards for each engagement.
  • Drive sub-90-day go-live timelines by leveraging Clari5’s pre-built integration adapters and accelerators.
  • Manage parallel implementation streams (EFM, AML, Case Management) across banking channels and core banking integrations.
  • Coordinate UAT cycles, defect triage, and sign-off activities with client teams.
  • Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders (CTO, CIO, Risk Heads, IT teams) throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, present solution design documents, and validate functional configurations against client needs.
  • Manage client expectations proactively; communicate changes in scope, risk, and mitigation plans transparently.
  • Build lasting relationships that support successful post-go-live adoption and open doors for further engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 3–5 functional/technical consultants across implementation engagements.
  • Assign work, track deliverables, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
  • Foster a collaborative culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and delivery excellence.

  • Technical & Functional Oversight
  • Review and sign off on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), Interface Requirement Documents (IRDs), and test plans.
  • Oversee and validate configurations of fraud rules, AML scenarios, case workflows, and reporting dashboards.
  • Liaise with the Clari5 product engineering and DevOps teams on environment setups, deployments, patches, and escalations.
  • Ensure integrations with core banking systems (Finacle, Flexcube, Temenos, etc.), payment switches, and ancillary systems are correctly designed and executed.
  • Process & Quality
  • Enforce Clari5’s implementation methodology, quality gates, and project governance standards across all engagements.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of delivery playbooks, templates, and best-practice documentation.
  • Conduct post-go-live reviews and capture lessons learned to continuously improve delivery quality.
  • Identify and escalation risks and issues in a timely manner with clear mitigation plans.
