Job summary

Idiada Automotive Technology in Pune is seeking an experienced CFD engineer to work on aerodynamics, underhood thermal management and HVAC projects. The role covers model building, case setup, solving and post-processing for aero, UTM and HVAC simulations.

The candidate should be proficient in CFD fundamentals, vehicle-scale aero, and report generation, with familiarity in optimization and client interactions. Shift options (A/B) and collaboration with juniors are expected.

Qualifications

• CFD fundamentals for flow and heat transfer.
• Full vehicle model building aero, UTM and HVAC.
• Case setup for Aero, UTM and HVAC.
• Post processing and report generation for Aero, UTM and HVAC.
• Optimization/Counter measure for Aero, UTM and HVAC (Aerodynamics).
• Experience with client communication is a plus.
• Experience with mentoring juniors for project execution.
• Automation/Morphing experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Primary Tools : ANSA(Preprocessing) ANSYS Fluent (Solving and Postprocessing)

Secondary tools : HM/Star CCM/ open foam/ other CFD tools

Past work: ESPs / tier 1 / Supported for INDIAN and Global OEMs

Area of Work: Aerodynamics, Underhood thermal management, HVAC

Flexible to work in Shift: A/B (7-3:30 and 3:30-11:45)
