Job summary

Hyt Engineering Company in Pune seeks an experienced Team Leader to head service and maintenance activities, monitor customer complaints, and coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of service tasks.

The role requires leading a team of Service Engineers, planning maintenance activities, and ensuring timely completion of PMC/AMC/repair work while driving CAPA initiatives and maintaining safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 6-8 years in machine maintenance/service.
• OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years in machine maintenance/service.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machines.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead and guide a team of Service Engineers.
• Positive work approach and ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day maintenance activities and service complaints.
• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance/service plans.
• Monitor PMC, AMC, repair, and breakdown activities and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct breakdown analysis and case studies for recurring problems.
• Work on CAPA and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with CRM and customers to address and close service-related issues promptly.
• Monitor the work plans and status of all Service Engineers.
• Provide technical guidance and training to service employees.
• Follow up on manufacturing materials required for warranty, breakdown, and AMC activities.
• Prepare site-wise Purchase Requisitions (PR), follow up on required materials, and maintain records.
• Coordinate with customers for breakdown, warranty, AMC activities, and related documentation/letters.
• Travel extensively within the assigned region to resolve maintenance-related problems.
• Ensure prompt closure of customer complaints in coordination with the service team.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Marketing, and other departments for smooth execution of service activities.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety requirements as a member of the Safety Core Committee.
