Job summary

LEADEC INDIA in India is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to manage shift-based maintenance of fabrication and catalytic production equipment. You will lead breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment reliability.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance manpower, coordinating shutdowns, maintaining records, and ensuring EHS compliance and energy management practices.

Qualifications

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical with 6-8 years of experience.
• Experience in fabrication shop maintenance and equipment lines (SPM, welding etc).
• Responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain catalytic production equipment ensuring maximum availability.
• Coordinate breakdown response and planned preventive maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance manpower during shifts and maintain shift logs.
• Support shutdown planning and ensure availability of critical spares.
• Ensure statutory inspections and EHS compliance.

Job description

Education - BE/ Diploma - Mechanical with 6-8 years of Experience.

• Hand One experience in Fabrication shop Maintenance equipment line- SPM Machine, TIG /MIG/Projection Welding M/C, Mechanical Robot maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Hydraulics & Pneumatics System, Alignment, Laser Welding m/c etc.
• To ensure maximum availability, reliability, and safe operation of Catalytic production equipment through effective shift maintenance management, breakdown response, preventive maintenance execution, manpower supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting production targets and equipment performance requirements.
• Manage breakdown maintenance and ensure minimum downtime.
• Ensure availability of critical Machine
• Assign and monitor maintenance manpower during shifts.
• Coordinate emergency breakdown response and restoration activities.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance activities as per schedule.
• Maintain shift reports, Log book, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with customer
• Support plant shutdown maintenance planning and execution.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure statutory inspections and compliance activities are completed as planned.
