Hyt Engineering Company in Pune district is seeking a Senior Manager - Service to lead and manage service operations. The role focuses on timely PMC/AMC completion, maximizing machine availability, and guiding service teams and contractual manpower.

You will drive maintenance, breakdown resolution, and customer service while ensuring adherence to HYT Service Policies and generating monthly MIS reports for the HOD.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager - Service is responsible for to lead and manage service operations, ensure timely completion of PMC and AMC activities, maximize machine availability, manage service teams and contractual manpower, and drive effective maintenance, breakdown resolution, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the completion of PMC and AMC as per the scheduled dates and obtain the necessary documentation.
• Review and monitor Team Leaders to ensure the maintenance of up-to-date history cards for all machines under AMC and warranty.
• Guide and monitor team leaders in completing daily work activities, including surveys, work memos, and other essential tasks.
• Provide leadership in coordinating service tasks with contractual teams to ensure all tasks are performed with accuracy and within budget.
• Conduct reviews on repetitive machine failures and perform Root Cause Analysis and CAPA. Submit detailed reports to the HOD for all findings.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of service activities, spares management, and the resolution of breakdowns, both with on-roll and contractual manpower.
• Maximize machine availability by monitoring online machine maintenance and ensuring support processes minimize breakdowns.
• Collaborate with various teams, including Service Team Leaders, other Service Team Members, and different departmental members to execute service tasks smoothly and accurately, following HYT Service Policies.
• Ensure the 100% completion of service tasks, coordinated with trained technicians, within the minimum required time and budget.
• Create and maintain monthly reports, including MIS (Management Information Systems), PMC, AMC, RC (Root Cause), MRM (Maintenance Review Meetings), and budget data. Present these reports to the HOD on a monthly basis.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum of 12-14 years (BE or Diploma in Mechanical) in machine maintenance or service management, preferably in a manufacturing or Machine Shop.

1. Proven experience in leading and managing service teams, with strong coordination and delegation skills.
2. In-depth understanding of machine maintenance practices, and preventive maintenance strategies (PMC/AMC).
3. Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA for recurring machine issues.
4. Strong skills in documentation, reporting, and data analysis, particularly for service performance metrics and budget management.
