Job summary

Hurix is seeking a Team Lead AI Annotation Process in Chennai, India. You will manage day-to-day operations, train teams on new processes, and evaluate SOPs & RFPs to gauge capabilities. You will craft proposals for leadership and ensure end-to-end process control with attention to detail.

The role requires guiding a large team, owning workflow innovations, and vendor-related oversight with autonomy and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in data annotation.
• Experience in managing a large team (50–60 members).
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and adjusted week-offs.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Open to any educational background.
• Clear understanding of annotation processes and tools.
• Experience with creating auto-annotation workflows and AI agents.

Responsibilities

Designation: Team Lead AI Annotation Process

Role & responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Handle day-to-day operations, performance management, and MIS reporting.
• Process Training & Onboarding: Conduct process training, specifically focusing on onboarding the team to new processes.
• SOP & RFP Evaluation: Regularly review SOP guidelines and RFPs to evaluate the current skill levels of the team.
• Proposal Creation: Draft and provide proposal documents to leadership for strategic decision-making.
• End-to-End Process Management: Maintain comprehensive oversight of processes from start to finish with a keen eye for detail.
• Gap Analysis: Identify and highlight key challenges and process gaps to leaders and stakeholders during both onboarding and ongoing productivity.

Key Requirements & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in the data annotation field.
• Team Management: Proven ability to manage and lead a large team of 50 to 60 members.
• Shift & Week Off Flexibility: Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and adjusted week-offs as per project and business requirements.
• Autonomy: Highly self-motivated with the ability to perform independently with minimal to no guidance from supervisors.
• Education: Open to any educational background.
• Annotation Domain Knowledge: Clear, comprehensive understanding of various annotation processes and tools in the market, with expertise in specific tools considered a strong advantage.
• Workflow & Tool Innovation: Familiarity with creating auto-annotation workflows, basic AI agent usage, and vendor management experience.
