Job summary

Fusion CX in Kolkata, India is seeking an Annotation SME / Team Lead to drive Advanced AI Data Annotation capabilities, standards, and quality across computer vision, LiDAR, and multimodal datasets. You will lead annotation programs, mentor teams, and collaborate with operations and QA to raise accuracy and productivity.

Ideal candidates have 4-7 years in annotation operations, hands-on 2D/3D bbox, segmentation, LiDAR, and strong ability to translate client guidelines into scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in annotation operations, AI data services, or related domains.
• Hands-on expertise in 2D/3D Bounding Boxes, Semantic Segmentation, Instance Segmentation, LiDAR Annotation, Object Tracking, and Keypoint Annotation.
• Strong ability to interpret complex client guidelines and translate them into operational processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading small teams or acting as a subject matter expert is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern annotation standards, SOPs, taxonomies, and best practices across projects.
• Lead client calibrations and resolve annotation ambiguities through structured decision frameworks.
• Support solution design for new AI data collection, labeling, and annotation opportunities.
• Review project guidelines, identify delivery risks, and recommend mitigation plans prior to launch.
• Develop and maintain gold-standard datasets, benchmark tasks, and reference libraries.
• Partner with Operations and QA teams to improve annotation accuracy, consistency, and productivity.
• Evaluate annotation platforms and recommend process and workflow enhancements.
• Design and deliver training, certification, and upskilling programs for annotators and team leads.
• Support pilots, proof-of-concepts, client presentations, and capability demonstrations.
• Mentor annotation teams and provide subject matter expertise on advanced annotation methodologies.

Role Summary

The Annotation SME / Team Lead will establish and lead Fusion CX's Advanced Annotation Capability, driving annotation standards, client calibration, tooling strategy, workforce development, and quality excellence across computer vision, LiDAR, and multimodal AI data programs.
