Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an experienced Hyper-V administrator to design, implement, and maintain hypervisor environments. You will provide expertise in Hyper-V clustering, live migration, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and optimal resource utilization.

Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting configurations, and performing root cause analysis on hardware failures to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise networks with a focus on virtualization technologies (Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of VMware ESXi server management tools such as vCenter Server.
• Experience with Live Migration feature in Hyper-V environment; ability to migrate virtual machines between hosts without downtime.
• Proficiency in performing cluster-level operations including node addition/removal from clusters; knowledge of load balancing techniques.
