To manage end-to-end recruitment activities for factory operations, ensuring timely hiring of skilled, technical, managerial, and contract workforce to support business and production requirements. The role focuses on manpower planning, sourcing, selection, onboarding, employer branding, and recruitment process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory positions across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse, EHS, Finance, HR, and Administration.
- Partner with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical and non-technical roles.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical positions.
Recruitment Operations
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, and selection processes.
- Negotiate compensation packages and facilitate offer rollouts.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies within defined turnaround times (TAT).
Campus & Bulk Hiring
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives with engineering colleges, ITIs, polytechnics, and universities.
- Manage apprentice, trainee, and graduate engineer hiring programs.
- Support mass hiring initiatives for factory expansion and seasonal workforce requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with functional heads and plant leadership teams.
- Provide regular recruitment status updates and hiring metrics.
- Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
Recruitment Analytics & Compliance
- Track recruitment KPIs such as TAT, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and offer acceptance ratio.
- Maintain recruitment records and HRMS data accurately.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and recruitment procedures.
Employer Branding
- Build relationships with educational institutions, consultants, and recruitment agencies.
- Promote the company as an employer of choice in the manufacturing sector.
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, factory, FMCG, automotive, engineering, or industrial hiring.
