Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced healthcare IT specialist to support hospital workflows and operational systems. You will resolve L2/L3 incidents for COTS healthcare applications, monitor health and interfaces, and collaborate with vendors to ensure SLAs are met.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents for healthcare applications.
• Proactively monitor application health, interfaces and batch jobs; coordinate patches and upgrades.
• Assess, implement and validate configuration changes and releases with rollback plans.
• Serve as liaison between business users, IT teams and vendors for issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance documentation and data privacy standards in HIPAA-like environments.

Responsibilities

• Experience working within the Healthcare Provider domain, with a strong understanding of hospital workflows and operational support.
• Incident Problem Management: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 incidents for COTS healthcare applications, ensuring timely restoration of services and adherence to SLAs; perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Application Monitoring Maintenance: Proactively monitor application health, interfaces, and batch jobs; perform regular maintenance, patch validation, and upgrades in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
• Change Release Support: Assess, implement, and validate application changes (configurations, patches, upgrades) through controlled release processes, including impact analysis and rollback planning.
• Stakeholder Vendor Coordination: Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors for issue resolution, enhancements, and escalations, particularly for regulated healthcare workflows.
• Compliance Documentation: Maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and audit documentation; ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA), security standards, and data privacy requirements.

Skills

• Understanding of provider credentialing, privileging and reappointment workflows
• Ability to manage provider directories, profile synchronization, and data accuracy
• Experience supporting CME, evaluations, duty hours, residency compliance
• Integration skills for provider-facing systems with EMRs, PACS, HRIS
• Security management for high-sensitivity provider data
• Knowledge of physician performance analytics reporting
• Experience working with Physician Services systems like MSOW Medical Staff On-line for the Web, EchoOneApp, Physician Preferences, CME Tracker, and other similar applications
